The Canadian Dental Care Plan is a Government of Canada program that helps cover a portion of the costs for certain essential dental services for eligible Canadian residents. Its goal is to make dental care more affordable for individuals who do not have private dental insurance.

The program is now open to people of all ages who meet the eligibility criteria, which notably include not having private dental insurance as well as meeting income and residency requirements.
